Elevator Pitch
I'm a software developer working for Black Press Newspaper Group in Victoria, BC Canada. Prior to working for Black Press, I graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree with Distinction. I majored in Computer Science with a Software Engineering option.
I work primarily in Perl, PHP, Java, Objective C and MySQL on Mac OS X and Linux. I have developed everything from E-Commerce systems to Web Services to database driven websites. I also have quite a bit of experience administering Mac OS X Servers. I'm very passionate about technology and learning new things. I also love a challenge and any project that forces me to master a new technology or programming language.
I would like to do some consulting and web development on the side, and am always interested in working on exciting and innovative projects.
